A list of dates and activities The Fall De-Stress Fest is offering campus-wide events and activities to help students relax and refocus while preparing for their end-of-year finals.

The Center for Faith and Spirituality, Health and Counseling Center, and Hedberg Library have teamed up to offer the following programs running from Monday, Dec. 2 through Friday, Dec. 6: 

Throughout the week

Calming Carts
All Day, Hedberg Library

Look for our Calming Carts located in various areas throughout the library. On any given day, you can find:

  • Herbal Tea Cart — Pour yourself a cup of hot water and choose from a selection of herbal teas
  • Coloring Cart — Choose a coloring sheet and some pencils or crayons to color away your stress
  • Play-Doh Cart — De-stress with some Play-Doh therapy
  • Puzzle Cart — Choose from various printed puzzles, such as Sudoku, crosswords, word searches, etc.
  • Healthy Snack Cart — Grab something healthy to snack on while you study
  • And more

Monday, Dec. 2

Holiday Cookie Decorating
11:45 a.m.-1 p.m., Ehrler Hospitality Center 
Stop by to de-stress with holiday cookie decorating.

Tuesday, Dec. 3

Breathe!
9 a.m.-3 p.m., Ehrler Hospitality Center
Relax with crafts and activities like holiday temporary tattoos, coloring, crosswords, puzzles, and games. Decorate your own journal. Snacks and beverages will be available, too.

Wednesday, Dec. 4

Paint and Sip
11:45 a.m.-1 p.m., Ehrler Hospitality Center
Relax with a cup of hot cider or cocoa. Toppings will be available to elevate your cocoa to a new level of deliciousness. Fresh popcorn will be available, too. Relax and paint a holiday ornament or suncatcher.

Friday, Dec. 6 

Button Making Station
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Library Lobby 
The Health and Counseling Center will provide a station where students can make buttons.
